Higher National Diploma in Media (Edexcel / BTEC)

A course aimed at equipping individuals with the technical and production skills for employment in Media Industries. With a focus on practical programme making and job seeking skills, the course affords individuals the opportunity of developing pathways to direct employment and progression to degree studies.

Duration

2 Year full-time.

Entry

Applicants should ordinarily have achieved one of the following

Leaving Certificate: with a minimum of one C3 (Higher Level) and three passes.
or
FETAC Award: A FETAC Level 5 Award.
Candidates must have attained a minimum 12 points generated from 8 Modules
Points are awarded as follows:

Equivalent Award: An equivalent award. Details of equivalence must be submitted at application.
or
Experience: Mature Applicants without any of the above are welcome to apply.
Applicants will be assessed based on prior experience and learning.

Successful students may apply for Year -
Two or Year-Three entry in degree programmes in N.Ireland and the U.K.
