Welcome to the Department of Communications, Performance, Art and Design. Our range of courses are as follows:

Communications and Performance

Media Production -
Certificate
This is a foundation course for people interested in exploring TV / Video / Video and Radio production or learning ore about film and the cultural contexts in which media products are created and distributed. Students produce a body of television, radio and photography work, and gain the practical skills that open the way to further development and education , or to exploring opportunities to work in media-related environments.
Media Production
A course aimed at equipping individuals with the technical and production skills for employment in Media Industries. With a focus on practical programme making and job seeking skills, the course affords individuals the opportunity of developing pathways to direct employment and progression to degree studies.
Performance -
Foundation / Development
A course in Acting which emphasises the value of live performance in the development of an actor. Formal training to a high standard is provided alongside rehearsal and production schedules.
Performance -
Advanced / Professional   
An advanced course in performance and theatre for students with previous training. This full-time course is entirely production orientated.
