This
new FETAC Award has been created to meet a growing need for people
trained to work with children of school age (4-16Yrs) in out -of-school
and after school settings. Work with School Age Children may be
a part of Childcare ( After School Care), be community based (in
Homework Clubs or other organisations) or be offered through cultural,
leisure or sporting activities.

Entry
We
welcome mature applicants, who may present relevant experience in
place of examination qualifications.
Please
note that vetting by Garda or other police authorities may be required
for some placements in this sector. Please read the page on Garda
Vetting.
