34. Access Course for Higher Education - Young Adults
FETAC Level 5 Liberal Arts (NCVA Level 2)
in partnership with Trinity Access Programme (TAP)


Liberties College is one of three colleges of further education in partnership with Trinity Access Programmes to provide accessto Higher Eduction. On successful completion of this course, students may apply directly to entry to degree courses in Trinity College Dublin in the Facilities of Arts and Social Sciences (BESS - Business, Economics and Social Science) and to other universities through the CAO.

1 Year Full Time


Entry Requirements

1. Age: Applicants must be between 17 and 22 years old on entry.

2. Academic: Minimum 5 Passes in the Leaving Certificate and a higher grade `C` in one subject.

3. Socio-economic: This course is for students with the ability to succeed in higher education who have previous difficulties or come from backgrounds which do not have a tradition of going to university. Family income must qualify the applicant to receive a third level grant and family occupation should be within a category which is underrepresented in higher education.
