Mediation is a form of alternative
dispute resolution (ADR) which aims to assist two or more disputants
in reaching an agreement. This is a one-year foundation course for
those who wish to work as Facilitators and Mediators in a variety
of contexts including Education, Business, Sport, Community, Family
and Social Services. The course is aimed at learners new to the
field. Emphasis is placed on the personal development and interpersonal
skills of the participants through experiential and academic studies
