Entry Requirements

The following are General College entry requirements – see course details for additional requirements.

• You should be at least 17 years of age.

• Two references should be presented at interview or included with your application form.

• You should have achieved or expect to achieve Grade D in at least 3 subjects in the Leaving Certificate or Pass Level (120 Credits) in the Leaving Certificate Applied. These requirements do not apply to mature students.
  

• Relevant work experience and training will be considered in place of the above examination requirements.

• All qualified applicants are interviewed.

Note: Entry to Year Two of two-year programmes is conditional on the successful completion of Year One or appropriate evidence of equivalent learning.
