Maternity Care Support QQI Level 5 5N3746 – Spring Term

I was able to use my level 6 Award from the Liberties to progress to the third year (level 7) of the Montessori programme in St. Nicholas Montessori College where I am now studying. My time at Liberties College challenged me, gave me an interest in Early Childhood Education and prepared me for third level college.
I studied for two years at Liberties College, achieving a Level 5 Childcare and Level 6 Early Child Care & Education award as well as a Montessori Diploma in 2013. My level 6 award allowed me advanced entry to year two of an Honours degree in Early Childhood Education & Care through IT Carlow, which I completed in 2015. I am currently doing a Post Graduate Higher Diploma in Teaching & Learning for Further Education at National College of Ireland and I hope to go on and have a career teaching within the further education sector.

I have been travelling all over the world and it gets hectic at time (jetlag is horrible lol). I have been too so many countries that I would not of had the opportunity to visit without working for Emirates. I am working with Emirates 7 months, I graduated as an official Cabin Crew member last month as we graduate 6 months after joining.

I am studying Midwifery in Trinity College, Dublin.
The Health Care Assistant course made my almost impossible dreams come true. I didn’t think I had the courage to fulfil my dream.

This course has helped me decide what career path I want to take. I have learned a lot from children with disabilities and gained a lot of experience in my work place. I will share my knowledge and experience when I go back to my own country Mauritius.

I enjoy coming to college because it is so friendly and the teachers are wonderful.
I did this course as a way of getting into college, I plan to go to 3rd level and study social studies.

This course has given me the opportunity to achieve a qualification that I have wanted for a number of years.

This course has given me the confidence to work and care for children in a professional way. I would like to open a Montessori school in Africa.

The training in all aspects of theatre is fantastic, I’ve learned so much in my three years in this college.
I would like to work in Theatre or further my training in London.

I feel this course has really boosted my confidence as a performer. Every day I am constantly learning more and more regarding all aspects of performance and theatre. I would like to continue my study in London.

This course has given me the chance to get back into education and to develop my personal skills, I would like to move on to a degree level course.

I really enjoyed my time studying in Liberties College.
Two days per week work experience in a crèche gave me an insight into my chosen career.
I found the whole experience to be very positive and recommend this college when choosing a career in childcare.

Liberties College gave me a wonderful base of knowledge to progress onto a level 8 degree course.
It introduced me to the relevant theories and gave me practical experience which was a perfect stepping stone for me.

I was a Travel & Tourism student and enjoyed every minute of my time in Liberties College.
I took with me many fond memories that I’ll cherish for a lifetime. I am now working full time in a travel agency in my home town.

I studied Healthcare in Liberties College in 2012.
I loved every bit of it. The social aspect was great, I had fun along with learning.
Tutors were friendly and approachable. You get work experience which gives you a great insight into what the job is all about. I recommend this course to anyone interested in healthcare.
