Social Care
Social care practitioners work professionally with people in a range of settings to meet identified needs. Client needs may reflect disability or a person’s time of life, health status or social circumstances. Working in teams, in institutions and in the community practitioners support clients personally and in family, educational and therapeutic settings. Personal attributes of empathy, compassion and integrity are at the heart of being a good social care practitioner. This course offers academic and experiential training for people interested in the field.
