Features of the course
- Foundation studies develop the student’s ability to draw and creatively interpret an interior space.
- Students develop a strong working knowledge of colour, pattern, texture, spatial relationships and materials.
- Design work using 2D Autocad and SketchUp.
- Study visits to period houses, exhibitions and manufacturing outlets around Ireland.
- Two-week work experience placement in a commercial environment.
- Specialist workshops and guest lecturers.
