Features of the course

  • Two day placement each week in day-care centres, workshops, residential care units, mainstream and special schools
  • Occupational First Aid and Manual Handling 
  • Students are prepared to become active members of professional teams sharing responsibility for the care of people with a disability or mental health issues.
  • Lectures/classes three days per week in Liberties College
