Sue Barrett

“I began my training in Bull Alley Theatre Company in 2004. I was fresh from my Leaving Certificate and ready to learn about something I actually loved and wanted to pursue as a career. The people I worked with, both directors and students, really shaped my experience and shaped me as a performer and a person.
I completed four years in Bull Alley and each year presented us with new challenges and styles of theatre and performance. Fourth year was an emotional and tough year, devising, writing and touring schools with TIE which was very successful and funded our Showcase in Liberty Hall. During “Steel Pier “in May 2008 I realised that the end was nigh. I didn’t want to leave, I loved my Bull Alley bubble. I moved on to Mountview Academy of Theatre in London where I have just completed a Post Graduate course in Acting.
The wealth of knowledge and weight of experience I gained in both Bull Alley and Mount view, have made me not only the performer I am today, but the person I am today”
